Accounts Payable Specialist
Pay Range $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for timely processing of agency invoicing and providing administrative support for the fiscal department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounts payable functions including reviewing coding, entering invoices and processing payments.
  • Review and prepare documentation for routine agency invoices.
  • Import invoices and prepare payments for stipends on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain electronic vendor files in adherence to departmental policy, including vendor W-9's and banking information.
  • Research stale dated checks and make determination on whether they need to be void.
  • Monitor and audit the use of agency gift cards.
  • Maintain and file various departmental records.
  • Prepare and submit IRS Form 1099's annually.
  • Distribute internal fiscal mail, process agency outgoing mail, monitor mail machine balances and expense postage monthly.
  • Uphold the values of CTI - Equity, Integrity, Compassion.

Qualifications
Associate's degree or 2 years related experience may substitute for degree.
Excellent data entry skills.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills to include: Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and comfort learning new software and tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic invoicing preferred.
