Job description

The Business Services Specialist I is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of incoming vehicle titles and associated documents. This includes preparing and scanning titles into the system, verifying VIN information, associating titles to individual barcoded folders, filing and retrieving folders, auditing title inventory, and shipping or releasing titles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Prepare titles and associated documents for scanning.
  • Scan, verify, and associate titles with barcoded folders.
  • File folders within a secure vault repository.
  • Retrieve folders and documents from a secure vault repository.
  • Print waybills and process outgoing title shipments/releases.
  • Operate mail processing equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment (e.g., scanners).
  • Organize and maintain a clean workspace.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to type and use a 10-key keypad preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; demonstrate objectivity and openness to others' viewpoints; give and receive feedback constructively; support team success; build morale; and contribute to team goals and objectives.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, adjust approaches as needed, and respond effectively to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and pull folders for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine and repetitive production work.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push or pull up to 1,200 pounds using a lift jack.

USD 16.59 - 24.86 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
