Position Purpose: This is an office support position requiring a reliable, organized multi-tasker and self-starter.  The position services the Riverside office of approximately 300 employees in a variety of general office support assignments including but not limited to mail processing, printing, supply ordering, internal office moves, and receptionist duties.


Primary duties will include:

  • Domestic and international shipment processing and troubleshooting (UPS WorldShip)
  • Outgoing mail processing and troubleshooting (Pitney Bowes Connect +2000 Postage Machine)
  • Incoming mail processing and delivery of such to addressee
  • Track/deliver mail and shipment delivery processing (Pitney Bowes Arrival)
  • Updating all mail center equipment address books, charge codes, etc.
  • UPS shipment and USPS mail report processing
  • Maintaining mail equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting failures, calling for repairs, monitoring equipment operation, monitoring meter fund
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining photocopy machines, placing service calls and making photocopies as needed
  • Maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels – copy paper, soda, office supplies, kitchen stock, etc. and submitting orders for replenishment; verifying receipt; stocking items in mailroom, and supplies to both kitchens (12th & 14th floors); delivering supplies to copier stations, workstations and lunchrooms.
  • Administrative and Reception support
  • Outside deliveries and pickups – UPS; USP; FRB building
  • Frequently deliver ships ticket boxes of ~50lbs and other duties requiring lifting as assigned
  • Provide back-up to Director and other Associates within the department including, but not limited to issuing keycards, running reports, Reception coverage, assisting with invoices and any other projects needed

Requirements:

  • High School Education
  • Microsoft Office 
  • Office and Mailroom Experience – 1 year minimum
  • General - Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Attention to Detail 
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Working Style:

  • Onsite 5 days per week

Hiring Salary Range $41,600 - $52,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
