Technical Sales Associate
You would be working for a family-owned business with a very friendly atmosphere that is an established leader in our industry. Customer service is paramount to our success. We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful leader with exceptional interpersonal skills to attract, engage, manage and build relationships with new/existing customers. This position will work from our Cullman, AL facility. You would be responsible for meeting the objectives of the Company's overall vision strategy by successfully managing the needs of the customers and prospects. This position reports to the Sales Team Manager and will be part of the Sales and Marketing team.

Responsibilities:
    • Expected to be a key cross-functional contributor and collaborative members of our Sales and Marketing team
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
    • Collaborate with Marketing and follow up on leads provided from website traffic, email and direct mail campaigns, etc.
    • Ensure pricing of all products meets expected profit margin and adjust pricing based on competition, supply and demand, etc.
    • Attend the occasional tradeshow or conference to develop leads and continue professional growth
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
    • Effectively communicate value propositions through in-person visits, email, phone calls, etc.
    • Manage effective customer communication to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Analyze statistics or other data from our CRM system to identify opportunities
    • Coordinate with operations manager to ensure orders are delivered and exceed customer expectations
    • First 60-90 days of onboarding will be learning operations and the quoting process
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical field preferred and 3+ years in industrial customer service or sales
  • Prior heat treat and/or sales experience a plus

Position will require travel throughout your assigned territory. This position has flexibility with on-site and remote work. Travel is expected 50% of the month.
