Overview

We are seeking a PT On-call Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team at IST Management Services in the Glendale, CA general area and to support West Los Angeles location! Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations, customer service, and a desire to grow their professional career in business services. We are committed to both excellence for our clients and upward mobility for our employees.

Hourly Compensation: $19.00-$21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  No nights or weekends!

Responsibilities

The PT On-call Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing and delivering mail and packages.

  • Shipping and Receiving Services - Receive and send overnight packages
  • Customer Service - Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Mail Operations - Sort incoming mail and handle according to established procedures
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
  • Take direction from the site manager and the assistant site manager
  • Participate in cross-training 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to uphold client and site needs
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations and customer service.

  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Prior mail or shipping/receiving experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs
