Job description

StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

As our platform expands beyond programmatic advertising into Marketing Technology, AI-powered orchestration, first-party data, and emerging media solutions, we're building a new Sales Specialist organization responsible for accelerating customer adoption of these strategic solutions.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial commercial leader to build and lead our Marketing Technology Sales Specialist organization.

Reporting to the SVP, Global Client Services, you'll define the commercial strategy, operating model, and go-to-market sales motion for our Marketing Technology portfolio while building a high-performing specialist organization. Working closely with Sales, Services, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Partnerships, you'll accelerate revenue growth, customer adoption, shape commercialization, and establish scalable sales motions that become embedded across the broader commercial organization over time.

StackAdapt is a remote first company. We are open to candidates across the US and Canada for this role.

What you'll be doing:

Build a new function

  • Build and scale StackAdapt's Marketing Technology Sales Specialist organization.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of commercial specialists.
  • Establish the operating model, forecasting rhythm, performance management, and team culture.

Drive Business Growth

  • Own revenue, pipeline, and adoption goals across the Marketing Technology portfolio including email marketing, direct mail, data management and orchestration.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Client Partners to accelerate strategic opportunities and unlock new growth.
  • Act as an executive sponsor and player-coach on complex customer engagements.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive adoption with both existing and prospective customers.

Shape the Strategy

  • Define repeatable commercial motions, sales plays, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Partner with Product, Product Marketing, and Partnerships to shape positioning, pricing, packaging, and commercialization.
  • Bring customer and market insights back to Product to influence roadmap priorities and future investment.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Enablement, and Sales Leadership.
  • Drive alignment across teams to improve customer outcomes and accelerate adoption.
  • Build scalable frameworks that enable the broader sales organization to confidently sell Martech solutions over time.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and the field in strategic planning and executive decision-making.

Scale for the Future

  • Establish success metrics, forecasting, and business reporting.
  • Continuously optimize the commercial motion through customer feedback, market trends, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Help shape the future growth of StackAdapt's Sales Specialist organization.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • Proven success building or scaling commercial organizations, solution sales teams, or new go-to-market motions for complex SaaS, AdTech, Martech, or enterprise technology businesses.
  • Experience commercializing emerging products and transforming customer needs into repeatable revenue opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success owning revenue, pipeline, customer adoption, and business growth.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level customers and senior leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
  • A builder's mindset with a passion for creating scalable teams, operating models, and commercial processes from the ground up.
  • A track record of developing high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and talent development.
  • Strategic, data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to balance long-term vision and operational execution.
  • Deep knowledge of the Marketing Technology ecosystem-including email marketing, direct mail, marketing automation, customer journey orchestration, customer data platforms (CDPs), first-party data, AI-powered marketing technologies, or adjacent enterprise software-is strongly preferred.
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align strategy and drive business outcomes.
