About the Role:

We're looking for a detail-oriented Vehicle Quality-Control Associate to join our evening shift team at our vehicle reconditioning facility. This role ensures vehicles are inspected to the highest standards of condition and functionality before delivery or further production stages. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about automotive quality and take pride in delivering a consistent, high-standard product. The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM, and includes a $1.50 per hour shift premium.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure all units meet company standards for condition and functionality prior to delivery or advancing through production stages
  • Conduct thorough cosmetic inspections of vehicle exteriors and interiors, identifying scratches, dents, paint inconsistencies, and interior finish defects
  • Execute functional testing of vehicle features including windows, mirrors, HVAC systems, and safety and connectivity options
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records using iPads and specialized inspection software
  • Operate vehicles and tools responsibly while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with production and reconditioning teams to flag and escalate quality concerns in a timely manner

What You'll Have:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • License: A valid minimum G2 Driver's License in Ontario with a clean driver's abstract is required
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for identifying cosmetic and functional vehicle defects
  • Tech Comfort: Ability to navigate tablet-based software and digital inspection tools
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced reconditioning facility setting
  • Communication: Ability to clearly document findings and communicate concerns to the appropriate teams
