Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in CI/CD processes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Docker. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with development and operations teams to enhance our deployment pipelines and improve overall system performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and implement best practices for DevOps methodologies.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and container orchestration.
  • Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proven experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes for orchestration and management of containerized applications.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
