Experience: 12+ years overall, with deep Customer Data Platform (CDP), MarTech, and enterprise transformation experience
Role Overview
We are looking for a Principal Amperity Solution Architect to support a strategic MarTech transformation initiative involving migration from legacy Acxiom capabilities to a modern customer data platform ecosystem.
This is not a platform implementation-only role. We need a senior leader who can operate as both architect and strategist - shaping solution direction, engaging with client stakeholders, defining transformation roadmap, and helping craft a compelling RFP response.
The consultant will play a critical role in evaluating current-state architecture, defining the future-state customer data ecosystem leveraging Amperity CDP, and building an executable migration and implementation strategy aligned to enterprise retail customer engagement needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture and RFP solutioning for Acxiom sunset / modernization initiative.
  • Assess current MarTech, customer data, campaign, and activation ecosystem.
  • Define future-state architecture leveraging Amperity CDP and adjacent MarTech capabilities.
  • Build migration strategy from legacy customer data / identity / segmentation platforms into modern CDP architecture.
  • Design architecture covering:
    • Customer identity resolution
    • Unified customer profile / Customer 360
    • Audience segmentation
    • Campaign activation integration
    • Data ingestion / ETL / ELT pipelines
    • API integration patterns
    • Consent, privacy, governance, and compliance
    • Data quality and stewardship framework
  • Partner with teams across:
    • MarTech
    • Data Engineering
    • Analytics
    • CRM / Campaign Management
    • Loyalty / Personalization
    • Business and retail stakeholders
  • Support solution documentation, assumptions, dependency mapping, effort estimation, commercial inputs, and implementation roadmap creation.
  • Participate in discovery workshops, client architecture discussions, and executive solution presentations.
  • Help define delivery operating model, implementation accelerators, risks, mitigation strategies, and transformation governance.
