Job description

Neuro Hospitalist Opportunity

Atrium Health Navicent, the second-largest hospital in Georgia, is looking for a dedicated Neuro Hospitalist to provide high-quality, evidence-based consultative care for a diverse patient population in Central and South Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage acute neurological emergencies and stroke activations in the inpatient setting.
  • Provide consultative neurology services to the Emergency Department, ICUs, and medical/surgical floors.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our Neuro-Interventional, Neurosurgery, and dedicated Stroke Unit nursing teams.
  • Actively participate in the academic mission, collaborating with Mercer University School of Medicine residents and medical students.

Training and/or Experience Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
  • Board Certification/Eligibility: Neurology
  • Vascular Neurology or Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship training/experience is a strong plus
