Position Summary:
The New Mack Truck Sales Representative is responsible for selling new Mack trucks to commercial, fleet, and vocational customers. This role focuses on consultative selling, developing customer relationships, and delivering truck solutions that meet operational needs while driving revenue growth and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell new Mack trucks to commercial, vocational, and fleet customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Mack truck models and specifications
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and test drives
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and financing or leasing options
  • Coordinate with internal departments including service, parts, finance, and body/upfitting partners
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through delivery
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools
  • Stay current on Mack product offerings, technology, and industry trends
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong understanding of vocational and fleet truck applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage a sales territory and meet sales goals
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience selling Mack trucks or heavy-duty commercial vehicles
  • Familiarity with Mack specs, vocational applications, and body builders
  • Knowledge of financing, leasing, and fleet purchasing processes
  • Experience using CRM systems

Education & Experience:
