Join the CSI 3000 Team


At CSI 3000, we're looking for people who take pride in their work, show up ready to get the job done, and help keep our trucks and equipment running safely and efficiently.

If you're an experienced diesel mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working independently, and keeping equipment on the road, we'd like to talk to you.


What You'll Be Working On

You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of:

  • Mack trucks/dump trucks
  • Dump trailers
  • Hydraulic systems/PTO Systems


Your goal is simple: keep equipment safe, reliable, and working while minimizing downtime.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance services
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and trailer issues
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform roadside repairs when needed
  • Conduct inspections and identify safety concerns
  • Remove unsafe equipment from service until repairs are completed
  • Order parts and coordinate outside repairs when necessary
  • Track repairs and maintenance records using our fleet software
  • Manage shop parts and tire inventory
  • Communicate repair status and timelines with drivers and management
  • Help prepare equipment for seasonal weather conditions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment


What We're Looking For

Required

  • 7+ years of heavy truck and trailer repair experience
  • Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Experience working on trailers, tires, hydraulic systems, and PTOs
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent repairs
  • Trade school certification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Comfortable using computers and maintenance software
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English


Preferred

  • Experience working on Mack trucks
  • Construction or hauling industry experience
  • CDL Class A or B (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Fleet maintenance software experience

Schedule

  • Tuesday through Saturday, on-call Monday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, On Call form 5-7am
