Position Summary

The Machine Technician will play a key role in supporting the build, setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of highly specialized industrial machinery and automated production systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with assembly, setup, installation, and testing of precision machinery and automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues on industrial machinery
  • Perform preventive maintenance and machine repair activities
  • Support machine startup, commissioning, and debugging efforts
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly prints, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, controls, manufacturing, and service teams to improve machine performance
  • Assist with machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production and service process
  • Travel occasionally to customer facilities for machine installation or support, if needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, machine building, industrial maintenance, or mechanical assembly
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using hand tools, precision measurement tools, and shop equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn advanced machinery and manufacturing technologies
Preferred Qualifications
