Waterjet Operator
1stShift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm-1:00am, Friday 11:00am-3:00pm (would require 4-6 weeks of training on 1st shift upon hire before moving to 2nd shift)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the operation of CNC equipment, including waterjet and milling machines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Load materials
  • Use a computer to select and run appropriate programs
  • Monitor CNC machine operation
  • Read and understand verbal and written work orders
  • Follow detailed instructions
  • Communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor
  • Follow safety requirements
  • Perform 5S Requirements for work area
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor
  • Promote a positive team environment
  • Be dependable
  • Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Hand/finger dexterity
  • Visual acuity
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull heavy materials - 50 LBS
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Prefer machine shop skills and general computer familiarity
  • Preference given to those with 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC machinist experience
