Express Employment is hiring experienced machine operators for our client, a local manufacturing company. This company offers excellentbenefits once hired, growth opportunities, paid training, and a strong culture of safety and efficiency. If you are experienced in the nonwoven or paper industry, this may be a great fit for you.

Job Highlights:

  • Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour day shift or night shift (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)**2-2-3 schedule

Machine Operator Job Summary:

In this role you will operate production machines. This will entail set ups, changeovers, adjustments during product runs, and inspecting finished goods. You will be responsible for quality control, packaging, stacking, and preparing materials for shipping as well. This position requires previous machine operating experience. Experience within the paper or nonwovens industry preferred.

Machine Operator Job Duties:

  • Operate and monitor machines such as extrusion machines, rewinders, and slitters.
  • Perform setups including loading material and rolls onto the machine
  • Perform changeovers between orders
  • Inspect, package, stack, and prepare materials for shipping
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Machine Operator Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of previous machine operation experience is REQUIRED.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Paper converting experience is preferred
  • Motivated, positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift and move up to 50lbs on a regular basis
