Summary
The Machine Operator provides day-to-day support to Supervisors and Management to meet production, quality, and safety requirements. This role is responsible for operating and supporting production processes, performing equipment-related tasks, and completing general labor duties as assigned. The Machine Operator may rotate between workstations and assist across departments based on business needs.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment and processes as needed
  • Complete pre-operational checks and ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Maintain equipment and perform basic cleaning, inspection, and lubrication (CIL) tasks
  • Identify and communicate production or equipment issues to management
  • Perform minor troubleshooting and support resolution of technical issues
  • Follow production schedules and meet required productivity expectations
  • Ensure products meet quality and specification requirements
  • Accurately complete production records and documentation
  • Minimize waste and maintain efficiency
  • Follow GMPs, safety policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Handle raw and/or cooked product as required
  • Support material movement and general labor tasks
  • Rotate between job assignments and assist in other departments
  • Train and support team members as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Knowledge of GMPs and safety standards preferred
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and specifications

Qualification Requirements
