HIRING DAY/NIGHT SHIFT MACHINE OPERATOR
IN NORTH SALT LAKE, UT
PAY STARTING AT $22/HR

SCHEDULE:
  • DAY SHIFT - 6:45am-7pm / NIGHT SHIFT - 6:45pm-7am
  • NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE (includes $1/hr shift differential)
  • ROTATING SCHEDULE
    • WEEK 1 - MON/TUE, FRI/SAT
    • WEEK 2 - SUN, WED/THUR
  • Only Work 15 days a month!!!!
  • Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND !!!!
  • One week you work 49 hours and the next week you work 36.75 hours
  • Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime) Paid Bi-Weekly

Our Line Operators are essential to our success. You will be responsible for physically operating an extrusion line to produce the highest attainable quality of pipe in a safe and efficient manner. This is what you'll do:
*Read the work order and perform set ups, change overs and adjustments for the order.
*Properly monitors extrusion production including produced product, equipment, performs quality checks on product and maintains the coiling area
*Assist to start reels, set up and monitors product for quality and conformity
*Monitors operating parameters of product and extrusion equipment to confirm that product materials and quality requirements are being met
*Maintains accurate documentation of all product dimensions on production reports and accurately tracks "Lost Production Hours" including the reasons for lost time
*Ensures pipe is marked with proper print line as specified in the quality manual
*Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment
*Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures
*Additional duties as required

*PREVIOUS MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!
*Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently
*Ability to perform simple math, and take measurements
*Ability to recognize colors
**Nice to have: Machine Operation, Extrusion and product specifications
*Forklift experience is a plus
Occupational and Physical Requirements:
*Understanding of paperwork procedures and documentation requirements
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
*Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery
*Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects
For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
