Job description

If youโ€™re looking for a manufacturing job, then look no further! Adecco is looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-moving environment for this Machine Operator position at Univance, in Winchester, KY, and we are hiring immediately! Pay starting at $15.00-$15.75 per hour! This is a temp to hire position!
This Machine Operator job will allow you to enhance your career while gaining valuable experience in a state-of-the-art production facility. We have partnered with Univance to ensure safety protocols are in place to protect you while on the job.
Primary responsibilities for Machine Operators include:

  • Maintain process flow for machining/assembling each part based on specific procedures and completing all daily production tracking reports accurately

  • Perform quality check inspections by measuring (gauging) part diameters, depths, external and internal grooves, etc. as required for the work cell (machining or assembly)

  • Demonstrate good understanding of all production-related documentation (e.g., PCC, Operation Sheets, SOS, FMEA, Key Point, Kan Ban, Flow Cards)

  • Demonstrate good understanding of TPM by checking all fluid levels in the machines (e.g., oil, coolant, etc.), and participate in scheduled TPM activities

  • Attend and successfully complete all operator training required for each Rank

  • May participate in investigations and suggest countermeasures

  • Train others when requested in areas where already achieved suitable Competency level

  • Strive daily to meet Department and Company goals and objectives; improve (Kaizen) machine processes, support team leaders and members, and maintain a safe working environment for all

  • Maintain strong attendance; knows and follows Company policies as directed by the Employee Handbook, the Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual

  • Other duties required of the job and requested by a member of Management Team

Pay Details: $15.00 to $15.75 per hour
