Since 1974, Stock Manufacturing amp; Design has been a family run business with roots on the west side of Cincinnati. We have grown from one facility to four and are still growing with facilities in Cleves, West Chester, Fairfield, and Harrison. We are a growing organization with proven ability to โ€œoutsellโ€ our manufacturing / fabrication capacity in the thriving marketplace of package handling.
We have talent and experience in fabrication within the industries we serve and are in search of a motivated self-efficient individual as a Machine Operator!
The ideal candidate will align with our core values of integrity, commitment, and growth and bring a servant leader mentality to everything they do!
This Machine Operator will be based at the Cleves location. The hours are Monday โ€“ Thursday from 5 am - 3:00 pm.
JOB SUMMARY: The Machine Operator / Brake Press Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of CNC Press Brake operations, saw and CNC machining.
  • Produce quality parts using the Brake Press machine (Verifying parts: dimensions, angles, material gauge and type)
  • Produce quality parts using CNC machining (Verifying parts: dimensions, angles, material gauge and type)
  • Produce quality parts using the Saw (Verifying parts: dimensions, angles, material gauge and type)
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department (garbage/scrap removal, sweeping, wiping down machines)
  • Operator Preventive Maintenance on machines as needed
  • Bend, form, stretch, notch, punch and/or straighten metal to meet job requirements and quality on part.
  • Sets stops on machine bed, change dies, and adjust components as needed.
  • Plan sequence of operations to achieve desired result.
  • Measure workpieces and inspect workpiece for defects.
  • Maintains reliable and regular attendance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing / production or similar environment required
  • Previous experience in a machine operator role, such as CNC Machinery, Brake Presses, and/or Saws
  • Must be able to work well with others, jump in where needed, and lead by example
