Bag Making Operator

Location: Henderson, NV
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
Shifts Available:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:00 AM (4-day work week!)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Bag Making Operator to join our production team in Henderson, NV. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on production lines and strong mechanical aptitude. This role is responsible for operating bag-making equipment, ensuring product quality, performing routine machine adjustments, and supporting preventative maintenance to maximize production efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Load printed rolls into the bag-making machine feed mechanism.
  • Monitor the automatic feeding, folding, gluing, and cutting processes.
  • Inspect finished bags to ensure they meet quality and work order specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and minimize downtime.
  • Pack finished products into corrugated boxes and palletize completed cases.
  • Print and verify product labels for accuracy.
  • Record production data, material usage, and downtime in the ERP system.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Replace worn or damaged machine components using hand tools as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on a manufacturing or production line.
  • Mechanical experience, including troubleshooting, machine adjustments, or equipment maintenance.
