Job description

Machine Operator
The Machine Operator for our client in Reno, NV is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of various machinery (Plasma table, slear, or press brake) for metal ensuring efficient production processes and meeting quality standards. This role may involve setting up machines, conducting troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and assisting in other areas.
Pay: $21.25
LOCATION: Reno, NV 89506
SCHEDULE: Mon - Thu - 6:00am - 3:30pm and 6:00am-10:00am on Fridays
BENEFITS: Yes
*Must pass background and drug screen including THC
Duties include:

  • Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
  • Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
  • Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
  • Able to operate basic machinery (ex. Plasma table, slear, or press brake)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams or assembly instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
