We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support a mining client in a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for safety-focused individuals with mobile equipment experience who are looking to grow their careers in mining operations.

Position Summary

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a variety of mobile heavy equipment used in mining operations. Equipment may include haul trucks, loaders, excavators, water trucks, dozers, graders, and other production support machinery. Operators play a critical role in maintaining production goals while adhering to strict safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy mobile equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and complete required documentation
  • Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions promptly
  • Follow mine site safety procedures, policies, and MSHA regulations at all times
  • Work closely with supervisors, dispatch, and other team members to meet daily production targets
  • Maintain clean and orderly equipment cabs and work areas
  • Assist with general mine site tasks as needed to support operations
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in mining, quarry, construction, or similar industrial environments preferred
  • Ability to safely operate one or more types of mobile equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, excavators, or dozers
