What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC equipment, edge banders, beam saws, dowel insertion equipment, and other woodworking machinery.
  • Operate and adjust machine programs to produce accurate, high-quality components.
  • Read blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and production documents.
  • Verify finished parts meet quality standards and production specifications.
  • Replace cutting tools and perform machine adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily equipment cleaning.
  • Monitor production while safely operating multiple machines when required.
  • Identify various wood species, sheet goods, laminates, and other millwork materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with teammates to keep production moving efficiently.
  • Assist in other production areas as business needs require.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum two years of CNC or woodworking machinery experience.
  • Experience operating CNC routers, edge banders, beam saws, dowel insertion machines, or similar production equipment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Comfortable using computers for machine operation.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.
  • Cabinet shop, woodworking, or architectural millwork manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Team lift items over 100 pounds when necessary.
  • Safely operate heavy production equipment.
  • Work efficiently while meeting production schedules and quality expectations.
