Job description

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Machine Operator Assistant to support the operation of advanced printing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing with hands-on training and opportunities for growth. In this role, you will assist the Lead Machine Operator with the setup, operation, maintenance, and quality monitoring of printing equipment while ensuring production runs efficiently and safely. You will also help supply printed materials to the lamination department and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup and operation of printing presses to maximize production efficiency.
  • Load rolls of film and other materials onto the printing press.
  • Support color calibration processes to ensure high-quality printed products.
  • Verify job specifications and production requirements before each production run.
  • Monitor print quality throughout the manufacturing process and report any issues.
  • Perform routine daily and weekly machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
  • Notify the Lead Machine Operator of equipment concerns and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Open maintenance service requests when necessary.
  • Record production, material usage, and waste data accurately in the production tracking system.
  • Supply printed rolls of film to the lamination department.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist other production departments, including:
    • Lamination
    • Slitting
    • Pouch Production
  • Communicate effectively with the Prepress and Converting teams to support production schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
