DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • MachineOperations:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or work instructions to assemble products.

  • Independently set up, calibrate, and operate complex production machinery.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and minor repairs.

  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.

  • May useadditionaltools(e.g.drills, presses, soldering equipment, etc.)with proper setup and use.

  • Assist in machine changeovers and tooling setups.

  • Machining parts forsubassemblies or moderately complex components as part of a larger product.

  • Machiningintricate or precision components requiring advanced skills or techniques.

  • Diagnose and resolvemachiningissues, including equipment malfunctions or non-conforming parts, using established procedures.

  • Track and document production metrics, such as completed units or defects.

  • SupportingLean Manufacturing practices, such as identifying and eliminating waste in themachiningprocess.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect products for defectsandfunctionalityto quality standards.

  • Conduct routine quality checks using measurement tools (e.g.,rulers, tape measures,calipers, micrometers) toverify product quality, functionality, and ensure parts meet specifications.

  • Perform advanced quality assurance checks, such as using gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), or other specialized tools.

  • Identify and segregate defective parts for review.

  • Document and report non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Perform basic equipment checks (e.g., ensuring tools are operational).

  • Maintain awarenessand report toleaders'potentialsafety hazards.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to address challenges and improve processes.

  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates.

  • Provide informal guidance or mentoring to less experienced team members, including demonstrating propermachining processes andtechniques.

  • Workspace Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Store tools and equipment properly.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
  • 1+year ofmachiningexperience.

  • Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity withmachiningtechniques, tools, and equipment.

  • Basic computerliteracy, including data entry, basic knowledge of ERP systems, and ability to use barcode scanners.
