Description
The Staff Management | SMX team in Pittsburgh, PA, is currently seeking Machine Operator candidates to join the production team at Tandem Foods. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with associates eligible for conversion after completing 520 working hours. In this food manufacturing role, you will operate machines/equipment to produce chocolate, protein bars, and granola bars. Pay ranges from $19.68 to $20.86 per hour, with weekly pay, health benefits, and additional incentives. Candidates should have at least 1 year of machine operation and production line experience, specifically with moving machinery.
This is a full-time position available for the following shift(s):
All shifts are Monday-Friday, with some weekend work required.
  • A 1st Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm ($19.68/hour)
  • B 2nd Shift: 3 pm to 11:30 pm ($20.86/hour)
  • C 3rd Shift: 11 pm to 7:30 am ($20.86/hour)
  • Day Shift: 7 am to 7:30 pm ($19.68/hour)
  • Night Shift: 7 pm to 7:30 am ($20.86/hour)

  • Assist with general repair and inspections.

  • Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating machinery or equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical work orders and safety instructions
