The Conrad Company, a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is looking for a Grinding Machine Operator to work at our Capitol Tool facility in New Cumberland, PA. For over 65 years, Capitol Tool has helped people in manufacturing and construction with precision machined parts.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Bridgeport / Grinders
  • Inspect parts while in operation
  • Take pride in one's own work
  • Maintain an orderly work area
  • Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment
  • Must be willing to learn all types of Okamoto grinders / manual grinders

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience preferred
  • Familiarity with a Bridgeport with ProtoTrak control
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and work with others
  • Takes initiative to learn and grow
  • With strong commitment to learning, reliability, and a can-do attitude, the company will provide the training to be successful
