Summary Description:

While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, as Production Associate, you will be responsible for packing thermoformed trays in a quick and safe manner. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line.

Position: Production Associate I

Hours: Day Shift | 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Night Shift |7:00 pm - 7:00 am ($2.00 shift differential)

Rate:$19.86

What you'll be doing:

  • Retrieve parts from machine and inspect for defects
  • Place parts in specified relationship to each other
  • Report non-conforming parts to machine operator
  • Place bag and good product in a carton and seal
  • Tend machines, such as trim press and pack station parts handling equipment
  • Cut and stack sheet when needed
  • Grind sheet and trays as needed
  • Build and/or stage all packaging material per Product Specification
  • Fill out label and flow bills correctly
  • Use pallet jacks to place skids of product in warehouse
  • Assist Operator when starting line
  • Help train new employees when necessary
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Must be able to correctly follow housekeeping policy
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as requested by Supervisor
