Summary
The Machine Control Specialist works directly under Project Managers and will be responsible for supporting Manatt's various Machine Control Systems. This shall include setting up projects, performing some survey tasks, trouble shooting, training and eventually 3D model building. Manatt's machine control capabilities include dozers, motor graders, milling machines, trimmers, and pavers.

  • Responsible for measurement and setting of jobsite grade for machine control grading and paving.
  • Calibration and maintenance of the specialized sensor system.
  • Must be able to read and interpret construction plans/blueprints.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and operation of surveying equipment.
  • Verify elevations and indicate reference points on jobsite.
  • Work with crews to ensure accurate construction layout.
