Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequenceAssembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordinationAssembles all variations of in-house standard productsFollows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc solvent welding and thread taping.Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixturesEnter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to siteCompletes required documentation relative to production and qualityDrives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.May read and interpret blueprints (product specific)Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe conditionWill plumb variations of standard and custom productsOccasionally assist with in house plumbing mechanical workUses simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixturesUpdate and redline drawings as requiredRequirements:Minimum 6 months? relevant experience required. PVC welding experience.Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic experience a PLUSAbility to troubleshoot and rebuild filter presses highly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints (if applicable)Proficient in the use of hand toolsHigh school diploma or GED
