Job Description
Our client develops and releases marketing intelligence software at a rapid pace, across many proprietary internal and external applications as well as custom solutions. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining our clients production and development systems along with internal infrastructure. The administrator will proactively monitor and maintain all AdGooroo systems and will work with the IT manager to develop resolutions and responses for issues and trends.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology. A candidate that pursues technological projects and interests not directly related to their day-to-day job functions will be given heightened consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
    • 3+ years of experience as a network/systems administrator with Windows server environment

    • Knowledge and experience with Hyper-V virtual server hosts

    • Understand TCP/IP networks and their infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, SNMP, SMTP, Firewalls and Network Access Control

    • Experience with configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network components

    • Experience proactively monitoring Windows servers and maximizing usage of existing equipment

    • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems, including experience swapping broken hardware components (memory, hard drives, power supplies)

    • Experience with installing and maintaining proper backups

    • Experience with capacity and resource planning, assessing network risks and contingency planning

    • Ability to assist with Mac and PC Desktop support, including troubleshooting issues, password resets, etc.

    • Ability to provide support to team members

    • Ability to document and cross train support staff on all related issues

    • Experience with evaluation of new products and services

    • Experience with maintaining and updating asset inventories and lists

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical infrastructure with at least 2 years performing systems administration tasks. Preferably in a software development environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and self-prioritizing skills

  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills

  • Excels in a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial environment

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
