  • OSPF routing. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) is a dynamic routing protocol. It functions like a highly efficient GPS for data by maintaining a constant map of network paths and calculating the fastest routes using Dijkstra's algorithm. • Network protocol ARP (Address Resolution Protocol primarily operates at Layer 2 (the Data Link Layer) of the OSI model. However, because it acts as the bridge that connects Layer 3 (Network Layer) IP addresses to Layer 2 MAC addresses, it is often described as working between Layers 2 and 3)
