Job description

Overview

Responsible for working closely with engineering and quality personnel to generate 2D draft sketch diagrams reflecting dimensions and requirements of Model Base Definition (MBD) parts to meet customer final product requirements by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzes and develops and defines accurate dimensions with annotated requirements from customer MBD requirements.
  • Revises sketch diagrams by revisions based on customer MBD change requirements.
  • Upkeeps and/or maintains master files of sketch drafts.
  • Develops 3D models based on customer requirements as needed.
  • Participates in the improvement process by documenting process changes in sketches as well as troubleshooting on production related problems.
  • Generates Manufacturing Inspection Plans (MIP's) based on individual part requirements.
