Job description

A growing consumer products company with strong brand recognition and a portfolio of products designed to enhance people's everyday lives is hiring an FP& A Manager in NYC. With a stable team, very little turnover, and a proven track record of innovation, our client is entering an exciting next phase of growth and maturity. Through strategic acquisitions and continued organic growth, the company has expanded its retail partnerships, distribution channels, revenue, and profitability. This momentum has created greater complexity and broader demands across the accounting and finance organization, particularly within FP& A.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced FP& A professional to help shape and influence the financial strategy of a growing business. The FP& A Manager will lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis while partnering closely with leaders across Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Accounting.

The ideal candidate has experience operating in a similarly complex, high-growth environment and is comfortable balancing hands-on analysis with strategic business partnership. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the business, can translate financial data into actionable insights, and wants to make a meaningful impact as the company scales through acquisition, expanded channels, and continued investment in its DTC business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support pricing, volume, promotions, tariffs, and supply chain decisions.
  • Deliver monthly reporting, variance analysis, KPIs, and profitability insights to senior leadership.
  • Support M& A activities and enhance FP& A processes, models, dashboards, and reporting.

  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in FP& A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
  • Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, retail or distribution
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and M& A modeling
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

For immediate consideration please email Kristin.Kelleher@roberthalf.
