What will I do in this role?
  • Assist in the creation and execute a regional territory recruitment plan for each semester. Travel on behalf of the college is required to represent Lycoming at different events, conferences, visit opportunities and college fairs.
  • Recruitment of students to Lycoming College by initiating contact and development relationships with students, parents, counselors, teachers, and other external constituents.
  • Assist with all campus-based recruitment events including open house programs and visitation days.
  • Effectively communicate specifics about the academic, recreational, social, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and financial aid programs to prospective students.
  • Review admissions applications and evaluation of credentials.
  • Completion of routine reports related to recruitment, projections, conversions, scheduling, travel programs and expense reports.
What are we looking for?
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Recruitment, management, sales, and/or knowledge of higher education are required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the acumen to persuasively articulate the college's mission, programs and impact of goals to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed presentation skills are required.
  • Valid US Driver's license with ability to pass the College's insurance requirements through a motor vehicle record check required.
  • Please note this is a travel heavy position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree and/or minimum of 2 years' admissions experience or higher education experience preferred.
  • The ability to manage student files and communications within Technolutions Slate CRM is preferred.
  • Bi-or multi-linguistic ability preferred.
