Job description

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN - Full Time to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
โ€‹Responsibilities:

  • Provide Wound-related patient care and treatment
  • Intake and or discharge
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and/or Physician to administer prescribed medications
  • Gather patient information
  • Gather necessary equipment and supplies for the Physician
  • Communicate as needed with all team members regarding treatments, ancillary tests, patients concerns, etc to guarantee quality of care.
  • Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy related duties and other duties as delegated.
โ€‹Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas.
  • Two (2) or more yearsโ€™ experience as LPN/LVN, to include one (1) or more years in SNF or LTACH setting
  • Wound care experience preferred
  • Must have experience with peripheral venous access(IV)
  • Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to exam chair and vice versa
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Time-management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Follow-up skills
  • Basic Life Support
  • Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
