We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time board-certified, board-eligible occupational medicine physicianwith exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team in Tannersville, PA, located in the scenic, world-renowned, Pocono Mountains.

Practice Overview:

At LVHN, you can choose a career path that fits your interests. As an occupational medicine physician, you'll be supported by a network of 15 physicians and advanced practice clinicians across our growing regional practices in the division of occupational medicine. In a career as an occupational medicine physician with LVPG, you will:

  • Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) medical evaluations and Medical Review Officer (MRO) duties

  • Complete pre-placement/pre-employment physical exams in addition to other specialty medical surveillance exams and fitness-for-duty evaluations

  • Evaluate, treat and manage occupational injuries, illnesses and exposures

  • Participate in workplace walkthroughs and ergonomic consultations

  • Be supported by a team of seasoned advanced practice clinicians (APCs), staff and case managers

  • No weekends, no call

  • A network champion for occupational medicine and a passion for clinical work

Qualifications

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in occupational medicine preferred, but board certification in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine with at least 3 years of occupational medicine experience will be considered

  • Must possess Commercial Driver Medical Examiner certification

  • Medical Review Officer certification also required or obtained within the first six months of employment

  • A valid PA medical license and DEA license is required
