The Furniture Pack & Ship Associate I will apply protective packing material completed upholstery pieces and assist with shipping packaged pieces to the required specifications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
  • Safely apply packaging materials to the completed upholstery pieces.
  • Assembles trays and boxes 'just in time' during the packing process.
  • Operates overhead lifts and staple, shrink wrap and tape guns.
  • Assists with shipping process as needed to load trucks.
  • Performs other duties as required for RHM to be successful, including outside of the Packing and Shipping area.

Our Requirements

  • Requires 6 months prior experience in a similar role and knowledge of upholstery packing and shipping
  • Must be able to read the production tickets to ensure correct order and packing materials
  • Must have adequate communication skills to interact with all other RHM team members.
  • Must be able to multitask with minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented, able to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
  • Ability to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories in excess of 100 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
