Luxury Cruise Sales Advisor


Position Summary:

Please note: this is an on-site position in North Miami Beach with a hybrid schedule (2 days remote) after 90 days of completion.


Luxury Cruise Connections is looking for an individual that can take an opportunity, turn it into a customer, and eventually transition that customer into a long-term client; achieving loyalty by providing exceptional customer service, exceptional travel recommendations, and accurate reservations. The individual should be recognized as a subject matter expert, with the goal of making every client a referenceable account.


The successful Luxury Cruise Advisor will use his/her knowledge and experience within the cruise industry to meet sales targets and customer experience satisfaction goals. As a Luxury Cruise Advisor, you must be an excellent communicator and possess great sales skills, while having a passion for delivering a world-class experience to our customer base.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Close sales with qualified leads to generate new business and ensure the clients needs are met.
  • Meet our monthly revenue goals.
  • Meet monthly metric goals.
  • Be a motivated self-starter capable of making over 70 dials a day.
  • Encourage potential clients to buy premium products and close the best possible deal.
  • Build customer relationships with existing clients by reaching out via phone calls, emails, SMS, or other forms of communication to increase the likelihood of them using our services again.
  • Maintain consumer prospect lists/contacts in our CRM database in order to identify client travel trends; Proactively and consistently seek opportunities to promote and sell our products based on client travel history.
  • Effective and consistent communication with your Concierge Specialist to provide exceptional customer service to your clients.
  • Knowledge and understanding of consultative selling environments to identify consumers budgets, timelines, and decision-making processes.
  • Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations to include meeting customer retention goals and following up with consumers as necessary, in order to close sales and meet/exceed revenue goals.
  • Use CRM's to maintain a database of current information on new sales opportunities as well as existing reservations.
  • Attend and actively participate in daily team meetings or relevant sales training in order to ensure appropriate sales techniques are being used and accurate information is being communicated to our clients.
  • Track sales cycle progress on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition goals are met.
  • Maintains operation integrity by following policies and procedures.
  • Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge in order to articulate cruise product features, benefits, and pricing and make recommendations to include promotions, itineraries, and products such as stateroom upgrades, onboard credits, and other shipboard amenities.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience converting qualified opportunities in a sale
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and the sales process
  • General knowledge of world geography
  • Familiarity with global luxurious travel destinations is recommended, but not required.
  • Ability to effectively use designated software to manage their book of business.
  • Be an excellent communicator.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Excellent active listening skills in order to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to relate and respond to the guests concerns and desires.
  • Be a motivated self-starter capable of making various dials a day.
  • Cruise or travel sales experience preferred.
