About the Role:
Join Mueller Lumber Company as the order desk manager in Mitchell, SD, where you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and in house project support. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the lumber industry and eager to make a positive impact on our operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the order desk, ensuring efficient processing of customer orders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and analyze order desk performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends.
  • Support the sales team by providing timely information and updates on order status.
  • Inventory control and audit.
Requirements:
         
Must have 3 to 5 years of construction experience or building materials knowledge
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a retail or order processing environment.
