Job description

The Stockroom Associate is responsible for managing inventory within the stockroom, ensuring products and materials are received, stored, and issued accurately. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by maintaining inventory records, organizing stock, and preparing items for distribution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Label and store products in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping or internal distribution.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
  • Label, organize, and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures when applicable.
  • Keep the stockroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to ensure inventory availability.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
