Now Hiring: RAN Wireless SME – Plano, TX (Onsite)

We are hiring an experienced RAN Wireless SME for an onsite contract opportunity in Plano, TX. This role is ideal for wireless experts with deep knowledge of 4G/5G RAN, wireless protocols, and system engineering.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system and feature requirements.

  • Perform performance analysis and troubleshooting of 4G/5G wireless networks.

  • Conduct deep-dive customer sessions and support new technology introductions.

  • Analyze wireless call protocols and resolve issues identified in lab and field testing.

  • Support product rollouts and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Provide technical guidance during customer engagements and pre-sales activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of wireless industry experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong expertise in 5G NR, LTE, RAN architecture, and 3GPP standards.

  • Experience with PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, and PDCP protocol layers.

  • Hands-on experience with XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, and Channel Emulator tools.

  • Strong troubleshooting, protocol analysis, and customer-facing communication skills.
