Posting Number ST000843 Position Title LRC Student Tutor Department World Languages and Cultures Division College of Arts & Sciences Supervisor Dr. Patrica Bayona-Chavarro Supervisor Title Associate Professor of Spanish; Director of the Language Resource Center (LRC) Description of Job Duties
  • Attend punctually to the drop-in hours of tutoring in the LRCV.
  • Organized and punctual reporting of tutoring activities in the LRC reporting system.
  • Professional and responsible communication with tutored students and NCC faculty.
Do the job duties for this position include any driving requirements? No Job Qualifications
  • Enrolled as a student at North Central College (NCC)
  • Preferred recommendation by a professor in the World Languages and Cultures (WLC) department at NCC
  • Preferred if enrolled in one of the WLC programs; qualified applicants enrolled in different NCC programs may also be considered
  • Intermediate proficiencies in one or more of the languages taught at NCC
  • Aptitude for working with students and professors in the WLC department
