Schedule

We are looking for one or two different RN or LPNs

**weekend shifts available**

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Evaluates and treats clients with appropriate level of skill according to client's needs under the supervision of an RN, Clinical Manager.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Attend school with client
  • Verbal demonstrations of client rights and responsibilities
  • Support case management by coordinating patient care plans and follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Demonstrate proper use of equipment.
  • Ensure HIPAA regulations are adhered to.
  • All other duties assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  2. Licensure / Certification: Licensed practical nurse (LPN) who is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON). Must have a current, unencumbered license as an LPN, or an Advanced Practice Nurse. Must be in good standing in the applicable state of practice. Must maintain all state and federal compliance requirements for licensure and employment.
  3. Travel: Travel is required for business purposes. Employees must have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.
  4. Work Experience: Minimum of one year of home care experience. One additional year of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital, is required for conducting applicable training classes.
  5. Other Hours of Work: Varies on a case-by-case basis. Full time is at least 30 hours a week from Saturday-Friday.
  6. Skills and Additional Requirements:
  7. A specific understanding of geographical/cultural requirements of branch office is preferred.ย 
  8. Must be customer service oriented and prepared to liaise with patients, their families and other care providers.
  9. Ability to use computerized systems.
  10. Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Ability to work well under pressure.
