Job description

  • LPN - Summer Program
Summary:
  • Please note: Hiring for these positions is contingent upon the enrollment of students in the summer program.\ We reserve the right to eliminate or modify classrooms and teacher/staff assignments based on student enrollment numbers.
Responsibilities:
  • All professional daily nursing responsibilities for the Acceleration Academy site based on student needs and action plans consistent with Massachusetts guidelines, regulations, and statutes governing nursing, school health, and local district policy
  • Review student enrollment for health action plan requirements and student allergies prior to the beginning of the summer academy
  • Coordinate with schools and families for transport of medicine to and from the summer site location that is needed for students to attend academy
  • Communicate with families to ensure student safety and well-being
  • Communicate any concerns with the site administrators
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the site administrators and district Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships
Qualifications:
  • Current School LPN's preferred
  • Staff do not have to work five days per week. It will be possible to split a position with another staff member.

  • Reports to: School Principals
  • Locations: Jacobs Elementary, Pulaski Elementary, Gomes Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Parker Early Education Center, Keith Middle School, Sea Lab
  • Elementary Schedule: July 6 - 31, 2026, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
  • Sea Lab Schedule: July 6 - 31, 2026, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm
  • Rate: $28-$32/hour
