Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients, formulating individualized therapy plans aligned with their mental health goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapies to various demographics, ensuring that treatment approaches are appropriate and beneficial for each client’s unique situation.
- Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate meaningful change in clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical records according to legal and ethical guidelines, while actively participating in ongoing professional development and training.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, enhancing patient care through coordinated efforts and knowledge sharing, and contributing to case discussions.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating sensitivity to the emotional and psychological needs of clients in distress.
The LPC will serve a diverse client base within the New Castle, Colorado area, focusing on individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. Clients may present with a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relational conflicts. Qualifications- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
