Uplands Family & Marriage Counseling PC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our professional team in Thornton, Colorado. This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing flexibility in how you interact with and support clients. Virtual sessions will be conducted using secure telehealth platforms that protect patient confidentiality while allowing you the opportunity to connect personally with clients.

Your primary responsibilities as an LMFT will include:

• Establishing a genuine, trusting rapport with clients to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders effectively.
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Regularly monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and referring clients to specialists when additional support is required.

At Uplands Family & Marriage Counseling PC, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. Your role will be to provide comprehensive assessment and therapeutic support to help clients navigate their mental health challenges and enhance their overall well-being.

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following requirements:

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices for mental health treatment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to connect with clients effectively.

While we welcome applicants from various backgrounds, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and a profound understanding of co-occurring disorders.
• A background in utilizing therapeutic techniques for behavioral issues across diverse client populations.
• Experience working in a community health setting, particularly within multidisciplinary teams.

We offer competitive compensation within a range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will be eligible for:
