As a Licensed Professional Counselor within an outpatient office setting, you will conduct counseling sessions virtually, working closely with clients to accommodate their specific schedules. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their individual needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations relevant to counseling practice.
• Engage in professional development by staying current with the latest research and attending workshops and training sessions in the field of mental health.

The LPC will be responsible for guiding clients from various backgrounds, including those dealing with trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and familial issues. By employing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's circumstances, the counselor plays a vital role in enabling clients to navigate their challenges and achieve emotional stability.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling environment.
• Strong understanding of ethical practices and legal requirements associated with the counseling profession.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software.

• A specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience in collaborative therapeutic settings that involve multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually based on your caseload and expertise.
