Wellpath Behavioral Health & Consulting Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Mount Vernon, Washington. This role is fully remote, providing flexible work-from-home options that allow counselors to maintain work-life balance while providing essential mental health services. Our digital infrastructure includes advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate documentation, scheduling, and communication, ensuring that our counselors can efficiently manage their caseload and client interactions without the constraints of a traditional office setting.

The Mental Health Counselor will:

• Meet with clients regularly through virtual sessions to evaluate their mental health status and history.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, taking into account each client's unique circumstances and needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities during sessions, adapting techniques to fit each client's cultural and personal context.
• Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support, adjustments to treatment plans, and necessary referrals to additional healthcare providers.
• Participate in regular supervision or consultation meetings with team members to discuss client progress and therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records of client interactions and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Our clinic caters to a diverse population, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present with a wide array of mental health challenges including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use. The Mental Health Counselor will be equipped to use culturally competent approaches to effectively engage with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring every individual receives personalized and respectful care.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid clinical license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients and team members alike.

While not required, candidates with experience in delivering group therapy and those familiar with culturally responsive therapy methodologies will be preferred. Additionally, proficiency in using EHR systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms will enhance the candidate's ability to thrive in this remote position.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
