LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC): PART TIME/CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. The LPC will play a vital role in providing mental health services to individuals and families navigating life's challenges.

This position involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' unique needs. The LPC will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote holistic well-being and empower clients to achieve their personal goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid and active LPC license or equivalent in the state.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of direct counseling or facilitation experience in a mental health setting.
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and create a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and handle challenging situations with professionalism and grace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions in a supportive environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate client growth and development.
  • Assist with counseling and support services for Maze of Life's Reentry Program, helping individuals successfully reintegrate after incarceration or other transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community organizations, to coordinate care.
  • Participate in regular interdisciplinary training & supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Promote a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, respecting diversity and individual differences.
  • Cross-train in various departmental functions to enhance operational flexibility and support team efficiency.
